who needs overpriced tea and sub-par scones (i'm looking at you, TWG) when you've got a solid marble table at home and dilmah's jasmine green tea from the grocery store? well maybe it seems like i'm comparing birds of different feathers here – or tea leaves from different fields lol – but isn't life all about making the most of what you have? besides, TWG isn't all that it's cracked up to be, imo.
and these custard cookies i picked up from the store are fucking awesome. the brand is fox's, btw, and they're so underrated! the cookies are crisp and sugary, and the custard isn't the typical gross cream (i really hate cream, tbh). it kinda has a bite to it, and it makes the entire cookie just so heavenly.
i love sugar, guys. i really do.
