"excuse me, can you pretend to be my friend the next time you see me at this bus stop so that guy behind doesn't follow me around anymore?"
"oh of course. i am danial. you are?"
i'm not sure if anyone would look at me and think i'm someone who'd have the balls to approach a total stranger and pretend i'm a "damsel in distress" just to get to know him, but well, it's what happened four years ago.
thank you richard for being the creepiest colleague :') we will mention you in our wedding speech.
