danial has this thing for rooftop pools, especially when there's a spectacular view of the cbd. we had the opportunity to stay at hotel jen over the long weekend and aside from some (really bothersome) reservation hiccups, everything was swell. we spent about six or so hours – over two days, of cos – just lounging by the poolside, sipping on beer and coconut juice and enjoying each other's company. what a perfect weekend it was.
