I wish I could say that we spontaneously drove to a part of Singapore and then decided to have brunch there, but I am not a fan of unplanned surprises and the unknown. I am actually really picky over where and what I eat, haha.
Anyway, we popped by this gem of a cafe, and for the first time, I actually told Danial we could sit alfresco. Not becos the weather was good, or becos I wanted to embrace the outdoor, but becos yknow, photo ops. HAHAHAHA. I COULD CARE LESS ABOUT THE OUTDOOR. SO MANY FLIES AND SHIT, I HATE ALFRESCO DINING.
But this time, no bugs committed suicide in my latte (happened at Hummerstons, pissed me off), so everything was a-ok. It was kinda warm and the sun was a little glaring so I felt like a pretentious idiot wearing my shades lol. Was enjoying our iced lattes when I saw a parking attendant giving Danial a ticket – we'd outstayed our welcome and the damn coupon had expired for about half an hour already. HAHAHAHA dammit.
So after about 2 hours sitting under the awnings, we explored the new Capitol Piazza which had recently undergone a rebrand.
