Christmas in my family has always been an elaborate event – lots of food, drinks, holly and Jim Reeves festive tunes.
Here's this year's DIY tree my parents made. My mum got fed up with our old tree constantly shedding "fir" so they decided to do it themselves this year! It's papier mache btw. Bet you couldn't tell.

Now obviously the best part about celebrating Christmas is not just the decorations. Since it's the eve of Jesus' birthday, we always celebrate with a good, hearty lunch.
On the table today we have beef lasagne, potato puffs, salmon hors d'oeuvre, mango-apple prawn salad and a delectable apple tart!
